Privacy Policy

Email address — if you sign up for route guides, purchase the full guide, submit a wine you tried, request advisor access, or send us feedback. We use it to send the content you asked for, process your purchase, reply to your feedback if you asked us to, and (unless you unsubscribe) a short pre-cruise email sequence.

Advisor requests — if you apply for travel-advisor access via /advisors, we collect your name, agency, agency website, and professional credential (IATA/CLIA/ARC/host-agency number) to verify the request.

Payment information — handled entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number; we only receive confirmation of payment, the amount, and the email you checked out with.

Analytics — if you accept the cookie banner, Google Analytics collects standard site-traffic data (pages visited, approximate location, device/browser type). This never loads unless you accept it — see Cookies below.

On your device only — your saved route, tasting checklist, and My Wines list are stored in your browser’s local storage so the app works offline. These never leave your device or reach our servers.

cww_unlock — a strictly necessary cookie set only after you purchase the full guide, so the app remembers your unlock. It contains your email and a signature that can’t be forged; no consent banner covers it because the site can’t function as purchased without it.

Google Analytics — not strictly necessary, and not loaded until you accept the cookie banner. You can decline, and you can change your mind anytime with the button below.
