Terms of Service

Last updated July 13, 2026

These terms govern your use of cruisingwithwine.com and the Cruising with Wine app (together, the “Service”), published by Sommelier Stories Press LLC (“we,” “us”). By using the Service, you agree to these terms. If anything here is unclear, email info@cruisingwithwine.com before you rely on it.

What the Service is

Cruising with Wine is a sommelier-written wine guide for European river-cruise travelers — stop-by-stop tasting notes, food pairings, winery recommendations, and related content, delivered through our website and installable web app. A portion of the content is free; the full guide is unlocked with a one-time purchase. See /pricing for current details.

Ownership of content

All text, tasting notes, photography, illustrations, design, and underlying code on the Service are owned by Sommelier Stories Press LLC or licensed to us, and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. “Cruising with Wine” and our associated logos are our trademarks.

You may use the Service for your own personal, non-commercial trip planning. You may not copy, scrape, reproduce, republish, redistribute, or create derivative works from any part of the Service — including the text, tasting notes, or the structure and compilation of the guide — without our prior written permission. This includes bulk downloading or scraping content to train, fine-tune, or evaluate any machine learning or AI model.

Advisors sharing the Service with clients should link to cruisingwithwine.com rather than copying its content; see /advisors for the advisor program terms.

Purchases and payment

The full guide is sold as a one-time purchase, not a subscription — there’s no recurring charge. Payment is processed securely by Stripe; we never see or store your card details.

Because the full guide unlocks immediately and in full upon purchase, all sales are final except where required otherwise by law. If something went wrong with your purchase or access — a duplicate charge, a technical problem unlocking the guide, or similar — email info@cruisingwithwine.com and we’ll make it right.

Discount codes (including advisor client codes) are single-use, may expire, and can be changed or withdrawn at any time.

Accuracy of content

We work to keep tasting notes, winery details, hours, and travel information accurate and current, but wineries change hours, vintages change, and cruise itineraries vary by operator and season. The Service is a planning aid, not a guarantee of availability, pricing, or itinerary details at any specific winery or stop. Always confirm time-sensitive details (opening hours, tastings, tour bookings) directly with the venue or your cruise line before you rely on them.

Alcohol & travel

Content on the Service concerns wine and alcohol tasting. It’s intended for travelers of legal drinking age in the relevant jurisdiction. Please enjoy responsibly and follow all local laws and your cruise line’s policies regarding alcohol.

Disclaimer & limitation of liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Sommelier Stories Press LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including travel decisions made in reliance on its content. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim arose.

Changes to the Service or these terms

We may update the Service and these terms as the guide grows. If these terms change materially, we’ll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Service after a change means you accept the updated terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and the state in which Sommelier Stories Press LLC is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
